600 Date: 8/4/2010 to 9/30/2010 Wouldn’t it be great if someone could make a movie about our Sigma Nu experience? Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, for some) the cameras weren’t rolling during our days at Auburn. The experience we shared can only live on through our memories, stories and photos.

While we all shared the same great experience, we each have our own unique stories to tell from it. And we need your help to document them!

For example...

"Brother Winston Pirtle was a vet student who earned extra spending money by de-scenting skunks. At any one time he would have 15 - 20 skunks in cages behind the house on the "back forty".

One Spring Formal weekend when we let our dates live in the house for the weekend, some SAE's threw bricks at the cages producing a cloud of aroma drifting up to the house which, at that time, was not air conditioned and had all the windows open. The entire house had to be evacuated for a short time until things could get back to
normal.

To counter the problem, our dates sprayed perfume in our rooms. For days thereafter we enjoyed the sweet perfume smell of our dates on our pillows when we went to bed. Fond memories." - Girault Jones '61
